NATAS Honors Careers of Six Michigan Broadcasters

The 21st annual Michigan Chapter of the National Association of Television Arts and Sciences Silver Circle awards honored five Michigan broadcasters who have TV careers of at least 25 years. The 2008 “class” of honorees includes:

Jeffrey Charles McAtee News Anchor/Report at WWMT-TV	John McMurray Meteorologist at WJRT-TV
Ronald C. Scott Produce for RON SCOTT PRODUCTIONS	Michael T. Walenta General Manager at WGVU-TV
Aggie Usedly - Co-host of mid day and evening lottery at WDIV-TV

About the Silver Circle

The Silver Circle was established to recognize individuals who have devoted a quarter of a century or more to the television industry, and who also have made a significant contribution to broadcasting in many different aspects — engineering, management, on-air, technical, production, administration, talent — and all have made their mark on television in Michigan.
